Only thing i can see is

These people never ever understand what the customer service is ... Better Moveon to other Dmat account ...

Same here, I have a Trading Account with Kotak Securities. It really proved helpful on a day when many of my friends who had account with ICICI could not do any trading especially when the markets were on a high. Also from beginning I always rely on Kotak. Their daily recommendations and sms and mail alerts have been useful time and again.

ICICI main aim is on insurance selling there main profit depends on Insurance. This Trading site is just a invitation for a customer to cum at ICICI. They dont give service for ICICI online account customers. Anyways i left ICICI ..thank God.

Faced huge problems because of the same issue. But I have another account with Kotak Securities so managed to put in trades.

It seems ICICI management doesn't have any business sense.. It seems ICICI organization have junk IT staff..and also these poor IT rats never exposed to Reliability/Capacity etc.. planning scenario solutions. Is it ICICI willing to reimbruse the losses?

Plain disgusting service. Down during entire day. What type of mission critical system is this? Have they done failure analysis?
Even Call and Trade facility did not work-reply from banker: site is down!!!
Time to switch over to other robust service providers.

How the hell can a trading site come down and that too for the whole trading sessions. What about investors like me who could not trade and lot money. I cant believe this happened. I am moving my business out of ICICI ASAP. Can any one suggest a more robust site

Today 8th July 2010 Trading terminal of ICICI direct was down for whole trading session .... Beware before taking ICICI direct Dmat account. Kindly verify the same if you really don't believe with any ICICI person

I know softwares can be buggy. But not to this extent. Your dev team is incompetent. Please ask them to learn capacity planning. It brings down the credibility of your website. I lost Rs 25,000 today because of somebody's crappy job. Its hightime to fix the site or fix the people.

even i am planning to inquire my all intraday trades for the past one and half year from a top level software company wheather the trades done for intra day is exactly executed or just shown in my account that the scrip i wanted to buy and sell is done .horrible there is no transperency in the trades we do through them and put our money blindly in their hands.

The site is down when you really need the site to be up i.e whenever the volume of buy or sell is high. I have seen that whenever there is sudden up swing or down swing in sunsex the site is down and you can't login or place orders.

icicidirect is not working even today. They make money by doing so.

I find it hard to believe that this is actually happening, it's outrageous. Isn't there any possibility for you to chance the trading sites with other functional ones? In online stock trading site functionality is without doubt on the top of all priorities, how else could we trade on them?

I have been facing this problem since beginning and had many fights with organisation people. they dont execute order, even if limit is crossed. Thru some sources came to know, in such cases, they execute from their side, and display wrong info to user. later they put invester in loss, and keep money with them.

I am doing my third year in computer science engg..in anna university i wish to do Summer Training and Internship so please guide me

ICICI direct is not a professional site at all. this only works when you do not need it.

Guys , The most pissed off online trading website we ve.
Off late m noticing , icici technical guys r doing it deliberately ,
whenever there is trading call , or selling prressure ,the most unwanted things happend, server down ,with a nice page "your request cannt be PROCESS NOW ... as the trading session is over
,their website is up and running . hard to belive ,r they running short of hardware resources or their server dont support high traffic, or their application crashed , being a techy ,one can notice ,direct.com pages r .asp pages , which doesta not support garbage collection , ... whatevr may b the case its our money , ....

Icicidirect is simply unfair!
Quite often (always in the first 15 mins when markets open, and occasionally during the day), the order placed gets 'queued' status. This means one cannot cancel the order, neither square off. One even does not know whether order got executed. The status remains like that for over an hour. If market goes against, they square off at a high rate.
Just avoid this online broker. Also the brokerage rate is 2% (buying and selling together) for delivery.
